Membership

We are a member-only club and the membership is for the entire/remaining season, meaning we unfortunately don’t accommodate rental of courts, playing with a fixed group and joining us for a few weeks or short duration.

You can simply join us as a member by filling up the form at the bottom of this page.

Try-outs

If you want to try-out the club before signing up as a member, you can reach us through “Contact” by specifying that you want a try-out session before joining the club. Providing more information such as current play level and your preferred location for the try-out session helps us manage the queue better and provide you the ideal try-out session in first go. Please do not come for try-outs on your own until and unless you receive a try-out date from us.

You’ll find our play schedule at the calendar on the home page. If you don’t yet own a racket, no worries, we’ll have one you can borrow. Just make sure you bring indoor, non-marking shoes!

Membership FAQs

  • What’s meant by membership?

US Badminton membership means one is entitled to use the badminton facilities at all three locations at the club timings. Additionally, members can play in the competition teams as fixed or reserve member. Moreover, members can join one of the training sessions. Lastly, members do not need to worry about shuttles as shuttles are provided by the club.

  • Membership Duration?

Our season runs from Sep-June, and that’s the membership duration. July-August is summer badminton period and for nominal fee, we continue to facilitate free play to our members if we have the availability of halls. Memberships are automatically renewed for the next season, unless you actively cancelled or unsubscribed by emailing [email protected]

  • Membership Types?

There are two membership types: Student and Non-Student – ​​​​​​If you are a student and have the student enrollment proof for the current year, you will have the Student Membership and will be charged accordingly. Please note that you have to provide the student enrollment proof every season. Please be noted that Ph. D does not counts for Student Membership.

  • Collection Period?

There are two options for the collection period: 12 and 6 months. The collection period of 12 months means that the entire membership fee will be auto-debited from your bank details in one go. If you opt for 6 months, the entire membership fee will be auto-debited from your bank details in two halves with a 3-5 months gap in between. The first membership collection takes place around November and the second collection takes place around March

  • Membership Fees?

When you register between September 2022 and February 2023, the membership fees for the 2022-2023 season are (in euros):

When you register in March 2023 or later, you get a 50% discount for the rest of the 2022-2023 season (in euros) :

  • Cancellation?

For cancellation of membership, please email to [email protected]. Once you cancel your membership you will still be part of current season and your membership will be canceled at the end of season. The charges for the entire season are collected from your account (if not already collected) and you will be unsubscribed from Club Communications, your access will be blocked and your personal data will be removed in 45 days.

Our club still has room for more members. If you want to join US,  simply sign-up below!

When you subscribe, you subscribe for a whole season. The season starts in September and ends at the end of June. We do not offer half year memberships. If you subscribe in March, you get a 50% discount for the remainder of the season. When you register you have the choice to pay the annual fee in one or two installations. These installations take place in December and/or May. If you wish to cancel your membership, please let us know before the end of the current season.
