Welcome to our vibrant badminton community! With over 250 passionate members around the ages of 18 to 50, we're a diverse mix of players spanning all skill levels, from eager beginners to advanced. Three times a week, we come together with one shared goal: to elevate our badminton game to new heights.
But our club is about much more than just hitting shuttles. After our intense matches, we unwind and connect over post-game drinks at the sports cafe, where lively conversations and laughter flow freely. It's here that friendships are forged and bonds are strengthened, making every game night a fun experience.
Our Activities Committee works tirelessly to keep the fun going beyond the court. From themed tournaments to social events, there's always something exciting happening in our club. And of course, we can't forget about the highlight of our calendar — the Annual Club Championship, where members compete fiercely for bragging rights and glory

Location: Nestled in the heart of Amsterdam, US Badminton is more than just a sports club; it's a vibrant community where the love for badminton and the spirit of camaraderie converge.
Our Story: Celebrating 40 years of excellence, US Badminton has evolved into a hub for badminton enthusiasts of all levels. From students to expats, from young adults to those in their prime, our club represents a diverse tapestry of players. The majority of our members are between 20 and 40 years old, making us distinct in the badminton community.
Membership and Community: With a focus on inclusivity, our club welcomes members 18 and older, boasting a wide range of skills from beginners to advanced players. The diversity of our members, in both background and playing strength, fosters a rich and dynamic environment.
Facilities and Play Sessions: We offer three play sessions each week across different halls, with additional play on Saturdays for competition matches. This flexible schedule caters to the diverse needs and availability of our members.
Training and Competition: Our unique membership structure includes Recreational, Training, and Training with Competition options. With dedicated training sessions for different skill levels and competitive team play, we ensure that each member finds their perfect fit to grow and excel.
Events and Social Activities: At US Badminton, the social aspect is paramount. We believe in nurturing relationships off the court as much as skills on the court. Our calendar is dotted with a variety of social activities, from beach volleyball in the summer to arcade visits, pooling sessions, and our much-anticipated US Weekend camping trip. The yearly Club Championship tournament is a highlight, showcasing the friendly competitive spirit of our members.
